More klan in Texas than any southern state. That part was out of line. BTW-there is also more kkk in the north than the south. It is hard to break stereotypes when everyone is so ignorant.
As a Texan born and bred and having lived in Mississippi, I'm ashamed that Texans as a whole are so ignorant about the real world and form their opinions from a Hollywood script.
Ok, look guys. I live in Mississippi, attended UM (Ole Miss), and have been dealing with this sort of stuff my whole life. In the authors' defense, this is simply brilliant use of satire, nothing more. We are talking about the school that rebelled when forced to integrate after all. My own father was in the crowd protesting the admission of the first blacks at Ole Miss, when the National Guard had to escort those guys in for their first day at orientation. That was 50 freaking years ago, we know it happened, we can have a good sense of humor about it. This is a freaking CARTOOOOOON, nothing more. And, to the author I would say Kudos, but I get the feeling Kudzu is more appropriate! 3 Snaps for an honorable Kudzu King! Good show, author, good show. And VERY humorous.
Those poor souls who fail to see the humor in these just fail at life. Pure greatness. And to the person worried that Texas has more KKK morons than Mississippi, we also have more black people than Mississippi. More white, brown, yellow, red, purple and every other crayon in the race box.
hahahahahaha fuck yeah

ReplyDeleteThrowing racism into a comedy skit... speaks more about the person that made it than who he was directing it to.

ReplyDeleteI'm 20 and it was hilarious.
ReplyDeleteOh I knew Ole Miss gooner would go bonkers when they saw this. Few things:
ReplyDelete1. It's satire and a fucking cartoon so calm the fuck down.

Saying that Texas (population 25 million) has more kkk members than Mississippi (population 2.9 million) is meaningless. What about per capita?
ReplyDeletefunny how the most opinionated commenters are all anonymous.
ReplyDeleteI'm an Aggie, but that is pretty funny I have to admit, everyone knows it's just smack talk...people take sheyot too seriously.
ReplyDeleteComments are pretty funny too, since when do people pontificate the KKK demographic in the US?

Furkin' HI-larious! Ol' Miss brought tears to my eyes. Well played, sir!
